Ultra 400TX White Lightning Laminated construction: 400D face Ultra-PE blended with high-tenacity polyester, Ultra-PE CrossPly, 0.75 mil PET film with a 70D Polyester ripstop backing. The Challenge ULTRA™ line of fabrics is composed of the highest performing UHMWPE composite fabrics in the world. ULTRA™ weave is constructed with an optimal blend of UHMWPE & high-tenacity polyester that is incredibly strong, lightweight and waterproof to 200 PSI. We stock the updated Ultra TX – an UltraWeave style selected for its almost zero stretch and excellent stitch holding properties. A growing list of makers and producers are selecting this fabric for their high end products. At just 244GSM, Ultra400TX far exceeds the technical properties of any similar weight fabric. The 70D Polyestyer ripstop backing allows for incredible seam strength and stitch holding. Abrasion tested to 8800 cycles (ATSM 3884) so twice the result of 1000D Cordura with 35% less weight.
